On 17 June 2026, we will be celebrating a special event: the 10th edition of Future Resources! For a decade now, Future Resources has been the leading conference for sustainable packaging solutions – and in 2026, it will be bigger, more innovative and more forward-looking than ever before!

The registration fee is €222 plus VAT.
This amount covers all costs of participation, including access to all lectures, the marketplace, downloads of the presentations released after the event, and catering during the event.
Registration is straightforward and can be completed online.
After successful registration, you will receive a confirmation email with a QR code for on-site accreditation.
Payment is made exclusively by invoice after the event!

You can now submit your presentation proposals for Future Resources 2026. Whether innovative technologies, forward-looking business models or best practices in the field of sustainable resources, circular economy and EPR – we are looking for inspiring contributions that drive change.
Submit your abstract (max. 300 words) by the end of February 2026 by email to future.resources@interzero.de. Together, we will create a stage for ideas that shape our future. We look forward to receiving your submission!
Exhibition for innovative packaging solutions
In addition to the top-class lecture programme, Future Resources offers an accompanying exhibition for start-ups and companies that develop or use innovative packaging materials. The focus is on forward-looking solutions – ideally using post-consumer recyclates (PCR) – that show how sustainable packaging concepts can already be successfully implemented today.
The exhibition creates space for visibility, exchange and networking: exhibitors present their materials, technologies and concepts to an expert audience from industry, trade, science and politics. This brings innovation to life and promotes direct dialogue between developers, users and decision-makers.
Your special advantage:
Participation in the event entitles you to exhibit free of charge, subject to prior agreement with the organiser. Future Resources thus offers young companies and innovators in particular an attractive platform to present their solutions without additional hurdles.

That was Future Resources 2025
More than 190 participants from industry, trade, waste management, politics and science met on 5 November 2025 in the Wartesaal am Dom in Cologne to discuss solutions for a resource-efficient packaging industry. Under the motto ‘Don't be late!’, the event made it clear that those who do not get on board now will miss the connection to a sustainable future.
Future Resources 2025 impressively demonstrated that technological innovation and cross-industry cooperation are already setting the course for a circular packaging industry. Participants left Cologne with clear to-do lists, new contacts and ideas, and a shared feeling that the train to the future is not only moving forward – it has already picked up speed.

Future Resources will take place at XPOST in Cologne in 2026. We recommend travelling by public transport, as the venue is centrally located and has excellent transport links. Alternatively, there are numerous parking spaces directly opposite the venue.
By public transport:
XPOST is within walking distance of Cologne Central Station. The walk takes about 15–20 minutes. Leave the station via the ‘Breslauer Platz’ exit, then walk via Eigelstein and Hansaring to Gladbacher Wall.
Take lines S19, S12, S11 or S6 from Cologne Central Station towards Düren to Hansaring, then walk for 5 minutes.
From Cologne/Bonn Airport: Take the S-Bahn S19 towards Düren to Hansaring, then walk for 5 minutes.
By car:
If you are arriving by car, there is a large car park in the immediate vicinity of XPOST.
From the A57: Take the Cologne-Zentrum exit, continue towards Neustadt-Nord – XPOST is located on Gladbacher Wall on the right-hand side.
From the A3/A4: Take the B55a and Zoobrücke towards Neustadt-Nord / MediaPark.
